FileTiger incorporates compression code (in zip.exe and unzip.exe) from the Info-ZIP group. There are no extra charges or costs due to the use of this code, and the original compression sources are freely available from http://www.cdrom.com/pub/infozip or ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/infozip on the Internet.
FileTiger will use your default ZIP utility for unZIPping files, if you tell it to in Settings. If you don't have a program installed for ZIP files, FileTiger will automatically use the InfoZIP program instead. You may want to use InfoZIP even if you have another ZIP program, because InfoZIP can automatically decompress a ZIP file into the folder shown on the far side, and most ZIP utilities will have to be told where to unZIP to.
If you need advanced ZIP features, including encryption or folder inclusion, you should install a specialty ZIP utility from those available that work with FileTiger--see Accessory Programs.
If you would like to always use InfoZIP, add a check mark in the Tools/Settings screen of FileTiger at the option, Always use InfoZIP for creating or opening ZIP files.
